merry christmas… and some news
Merry christmas and a happy new year. Stay healthy and happy and hopefully we meet at one of the upcoming events next year. In this post you will read about triosence, a clinic with Wolf Simon, some news from the Complete Music Camp in Kassel and a studio session with Christoph Busse.
triosence has been working hard over the last couple of weeks to arrange tourdates for next year, to finish the CD including mixing, mastering, artwork, etc. We are really happy to announce that we will be working with Monster Artists from Göttingen as our tour-management for next year. A lot of dates have been fixed already and there is more to come. I will try to update the tourdates regularly, so please check here every once in a while. Next shows coming up (first shows with songs from „turning points“) are January 25th and 26th at the Kulm Hotel in St. Moritz, Switzerland and and 27th in Überlingen at Buchinger Bodensee. This is going to be the tour-poster in 2013:
In December I recorded a CD with Christoph Busse, great piano player alongside Nené Vásquez on percussion and Omar Rodriguez Calvo on bass. Omar is usually playing with Tingvall Trio and Nené and I played with Christoph before, but it is our first recording together. Here are some impressions from the session at the beautiful Fattoria Musica Studio:
At the end of November the Complete Music Camp – Bandcamp Kassel 2012 received an advancement award of Dr. Wolfgang Zippel Foundation. We are really grateful for the award and are looking forward to the camp in Kassel in 2013. Christina Lux will be the mentor for the Camp which is great. Please check here for news on the camp.
On january 19th my friend and amazing drummer Wolf Simon and I will be doing a clinic at University of Osnabrück for the drum-students there. We are working on a concept for these kinds of clinics and hopefully will have the chance to do some more.
So much for this year. Again happy holidays and stay groovy…
