Hello everybody,
I am still on the road with triosence a lot. The tour is going well and you can follow our trip on www.triosence.com or our facebook-page. Audience and critics mostly seem to like what we do and we are really happy about it. I would like to thank all the people involved and especially my dear friends who helped me as roadies during our tour.
Besides that I would like to tell you a little bit about other upcoming workshops, concerts and CD releases.

NEW CDs OUT:
The CD with Christoph Busse Quartett (C.B. piano, Omar Rodriguez Calvo from Tingvall Trio on bass, Nené Vásquez on percussion and me on drums) will be out in July on Laika Records. The tracks sound really nice and Stephan Van Wylick has done a great job recording and mixing the CD at Fattoria Musica.

Gregor Meyle’s live CD has been released April 12th and we played a great concert at sold out „Altes Pfandhaus“ in Cologne. The picture on the top left is the cover-photo of Gregor’s CD, which features great musicians like Dominik Krämer, Mario Garruccio, Pivo Deinert, Andreas Gundlach and many more.

The upcoming CD from Edgar Knecht will be released end of june, we just recorded a little video for it and will present the new program live at Kulturzelt Kassel Festival on August 23rd. Here is a little impression from the video-shoot with my dear friend Tobias Schulte:

UPCOMING CLINICS AND WORKSHOPS:
I will be performing a couple of clinics within the next weeks, e.g. May 13th at Swiss Drum Academy Zürich in collaboration with the LA Music Academy and May 23rd at Musikhaus Ahrends in Ostgroßefehn. Upcoming workshops after that are Complete Music Camp – Bandcamp Kassel May 29th-June 2nd, Drumday at POPAKADEMIE Mannheim on june 15th and Berlin Drum Week in August.
I help organizing drumclinics with Ralph Humphrey (Frank Zappa) in Germany. The dates will be announced soon. He is one of my great drumming heroes!
