Stephan Emig
Early days
I was born on January 7, 1976 in Kassel, received my first drum kit as a Christmas present in 1989 and have since played in many bands around my home town. Since 1997 and after finishing my studies in the USA, I have been working as a professional musician and have been living in Hanover for several years now.
My education
1990 – 1996: Private Lessons with Uwe Kramer, Dickie Frost und Dirk Rosenbaum.
1996 – 1997: Studies at Los Angeles Music Academy a.o. with Mike Shapiro, Joe Porcaro, Ralph Humphrey, Mike Packer, Aaron Serfaty, Mark Schulman, Emil Richards, Jerry Steinholtz.
2012: studying “Cultural Management” part-time at Leibniz Universität Hannover.
