The Early Days
I was born on January, 7th 1976 in Kassel, Germany, and got my first drumkit as a gift for Christmas 1989. Since then I played in many bands around my home town.
From 1997, after graduating in the USA, I have been working as a professional musician and have been living in Hannover for several years now.
Education:
1990 - 1996: Taking lessons with Uwe Kramer, Dickie Frost and Dirk Rosenbaum.
1996 - 1997: Studying at the Los Angeles Music Academy with Mike Shapiro, Joe Porcaro, Ralph Humphrey, Mike Packer, Aaron Serfaty, Mark Schulman, Emil Richards, Jerry Steinholtz and others.
2012: Studying "Cultural Management" at the Leibniz University of Hanover.
Workshops and masterclasses with Udo Dahmen, Wolfgang Haffner, Rene Creemers, Luis Conte, Steve Smith, Gregg Bissonette, Ed Thigpen, Ed Soph, Steve Houghton, Michael Küttner, amongst others.
