may the force be with you
Dear reader, thanks for coming back to my website. In this post you can read about upcoming and recent events a.o. with triosence, Gregor Meyle, Christina Lux, Edgar Knecht and a couple of new videos. Please check my tourdates regularly to come by a show or two :-) The picture on the left is from a recording session for Sennheiser Microphones and the Drum Mic’a Software.
SENNHEISER RECORDING SESSION
This session at Horus Studio Hannover was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed working with engineer Arne Neurand, as well as Norbert Ibrom, Jörg Küster and Ralph Päckers. Here is a clip from this session.
I have been playing with Gregor Meyle now for a little over a year and it amazes me all the time, what an amazing and inspiring person and hard worker he is. It is a great privilege to play with him and his band-members.
Since he is part of the “Sing Meinen Song” TV show on VOX his popularity has been growing and the live shows are usually packed or even sold out. Please make sure to come by and watch his great performances, but make sure to bring some time. The concerts usually take 3 hours at least :-)
Here are couple of impressions from the last shows (thanks to Claudia Dechand)
With triosence we have finished our “Turning Points” tour with some nice concerts. Here are some pictures taken by Thomas Köke! Thanks, pal!
Also together with Marius I was part of the Nico Gomez Band alongside Wolf Simon on drums. We also featured some of “The Voice of Germany” talents like Peer, Debbie and Emily. It was a packed show and great to see “The Voice”s again.
… AND A LOT MORE
Besides that I played really enjoyable concerts Edgar Knecht, Christina Lux and Fresh Music Life FML featured three drummers this time: Moritz Müller, Lukas Berg and myself. It is always great to meet fellow drummers.
Together with Patrick Fa I was honored to get a feature in Drumheads Magazine, where we talked about our Tour with “The Voice” and about the equipment we used. Nerd alert!
At the OLB Musik Camps I was part of the coaching crew and was really inspired by the passion for music from the young musicians at these camps. I feel blessed that they allow me to help them and be creative with their music.
Hope you enjoyed this post. Hope to see you live on tour…
All the best,
P.S.: Together with my buddies Ingo Hassenstein and Dirk Hoppe we were busy rehearsing for our studio session in July. I am very excited about this new project!
